Project Update April 11th, 2010.
Team Shining Stars has officially almost completed their Cornerstone assignments. Final touches are being made to the Team Reflection Blueprint and the overall project has been a great success. We are all satisfied with the results we have accomplished and thoroughly enjoyed this Cornerstone class. Pictures of the final event have been posted along with a few other event photos.
Project Update March 28th, 2010.
Team Shining stars has completed their Junior Achievement assignment and we have met the majority of our objectives along the way. The Teacher Appreciation luncheon held at Shingle Creek Elementary School was a great success and all the members of staff enjoyed it. The event went smoothly and was an overall success. Our Junior Achievement teaching assignments have been completed by most of the team members and our fund raising met the standards we had set. Thank you to all the members of our team for the project completion.
Project Update March 14th, 2010.
The fund raising drive was a great success and we raised over 380% of what was expected, we managed to raise over $1150. The group has been very happy with our progress thus far and we are well on our road towards having a successful Teach Appreciation luncheon. We are all approaching our final week of teaching and we have all had fun committing to the Junior Achievement assignment.
Project Update February 21st, 2010.
The members of Team Shining Stars taught their first lesson at Shingle Creek Elementary this week. Lessons and activities included the reading of "Robbie's trip to the farm", "Angie and the carnival", "Our Family" and "How does our community work." It has been an interesting week for most of us as this was our first time teaching a group of children. Great job so far Team Shining Stars.

Today, our group members participated in their observational learning visits. We all look forward to teaching starting next week.

We had the opportunity to visit Shingle Creek Elementary and meet our assigned teachers today. All details needed for the success of our Teacher Appreciation event have been gathered and we look forward to succeeding in our Junior Achievement project.
